Qazi, was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh, before moving to London, UK for his higher studies. He has over 14 years of global cross-domain experience working across digital product engineering, strategy and technology consulting, and telecommunications in Europe and South Asia. He was most recently the Head of Digital Platforms at Banglalink (VEON), one of the largest telcos in Bangladesh, where was responsible for leading the overall engineering teams for all the key digitals assets and channels like the self-care app, chatbots,s and OTTs. Prior to that, he spent most of his career in the UK as a Senior Manager within Accenture’s technology consulting practice from the London office. He holds a BEng Hons degree and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Brunel University in London, UK. Qazi is deeply passionate about farming and picked up farming techniques by growing exotic crops like cherry tomatoes and capsicums on his own family land and selling them to retailers.
